Just out of curiosity...do you still have the "Kiss of the Claw" script?
Because my computer got hit by a virus and I had to scrub everything, which made me lose all of my work...so I'm just trying to get back what I can.
I just wanted to see if you had the full 180 page original script I sent so that I can at least submit it to BatmanFanFilms.com since you won't be producing it.

Hey Chas,
Let me check. I might still have it somewhere on my back up drive. Send me an email through the website with your current email address, so if I find it, I can send it to you.

MY TOP 5 WORST MOVIES OF 2008 « Result #3 on Dec 31, 2008, 11:53am »
Here are my top 5 WORST MOVIES of this year. I decided to go with the high profile projects only. Let's begin.
5. Star Wars: Clone Wars - Now, some of know that I'm an avid STAR WARS (old school) fan. But this obvious ploy to make cash for CRAZY GEORGE was an insult. From the animation(or whatever they call it) to the story was just plain awful. I was happy that the series (basically this movie was three episodes put together) never caught on and vanished in oblivion. Thanks George for your continued rape of my childhood.
4. Kung Fu Panda - Take no offense when I say, that anyone over the age of 5 that liked this movie is retarded. This was the most overrated, unfunny, boring. . .did I say overrated? movie of 2008! I don't get how this movie was a hit, and you know they're making a sequel to this crap. They had all the right elements with the cast and story, except for Jack Black. (BTW- Isn't he and Seth Rogen getting on your nerves?) Anyway, they were all dressed up, with nowhere to go. Another example of a great idea with the wrong execution.
3. The Love Guru - I'll say no more.
2. The Spirit - Now, I should have known better. The first Trailer from this movie, is the WORST trailer ever made. But it has Sam Jackson, right?. . . . .WRONG. It has a inept director with an awesome Director Of Photography. MAN, THAT HURTS! I won't go into my personal feelings about Frank Miller, but he didn't direct any of 'Sin City'. I can't believe LIONSGATE (The lousy studio) actually released that poop. Wait, they released that 'PUNISHER MOVIE' early. Nevermind. The movie looks good, the Ladies look good. That's it. Watch the movie with the sound off, cause the rest is like having 15 root canals. I swear to god, if Frank Miller does Buck Rodgers (rumored to be his next gig) I'm quitting filmmaking.
1. The Happening - Ok, this is a no-brainer. Since the 3rd act of Signs, M. Night's filmmaking skills have begun to waiver. For any other filmmaker, this movie would be a career ender. But this is the man who made, The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable! I went into this movie ignoring the nay-sayers, I went in with an open mind 'It can't be that bad'. Oh Lord, it was that bad! He must have had one of his kids direct that movie or something. I can't name one good thing about that movie, not one! The story, stupid. . oohhh, afraid of trees? GET THE f**k OUTTA HERE! The acting, boring. Was that Mark Wahlberg or a CARDBOARD BOX? He couldn't even make Philly look cool this time around. I think this was a wake up call for M. Night. He started to believe his own hype. He's always been thingyy (in a good way), but I think he began to think that whatever he releases will be gold. His last three we're not BOX OFFICE HITS. Night needs to chill out for awhile. get the creative juices flowing again. Then come back kicking ass! I can only hope, but he's already started work on his next. (Think it's based on a cartoon or something) SPY KIDS, M. Night style?
Overall, this whole year was filled with mediocre Movies, TV and Music. American's have run out of ideas and creativity (except those few in the Independent Realm). Even though 2009 is going to be the worst economic time in our history. I hope that I'm at least entertained on the downward spiral.
That's it. I have a Best of 2008. But those are boring, so I won't put that up. HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The Dark Knight - A Review « Result #4 on Sept 17, 2008, 4:43pm »
THE DARK KNIGHT – A REVIEW Ok, so this is my first review of any movie. . .at least online.
Recently the wife and I went to see The Dark Knight. I’m a huge fan of Batman Begins, so I was psyched to see this bad –boy! All the hype and extreme excitement made this movie seem like the second coming or something. Even comparing it to HEAT and THE EMPIRE STIKES BACK. Those are BOLD statements, but I went in with normal expectations. So, what I did I think? Well, it’s a good movie. . . .not a great movie. Some are calling it ‘the greatest comic book movie ever made.’ I whole heartily disagree! This movie had awesome achievements, but it has major flaws.
[ MAJOR SPOLIERS AHEAD SO IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE SKIP THIS SECTION] First, it was too d**n long! They could have cut at least 30 minutes from the movie. . . . you know I’m right! They had so many unnecessary sub-plots it was ridiculous, For example: the whole thing with the Chinese guy? They could have cut that whole thing out and it would have never affected the movie as a whole. Harvey Two-Face, they should have ended Harvey’s part in the hospital after the Joker left. That would have been an awesome set up for the third movie! Both, the thing with Gordon’s family and Harvey, and the guy who knows Bruce is Batman, were the stupidest parts of the movie. These are the reasons why I never liked Chris Nolan (Writer /Director), besides not knowing how to stage fight scenes, he doesn’t pace his movie well (Batman Begins and The Prestige are exceptions), the latter gave me hope that I would like him as a filmmaker, but he’s back to his old ways with this movie. With its flaws, there were some triumphs. The late Heath Ledger as The Joker. Man ol’ man, he saved this movie for me. His portrayal was spot on. Now, I don’t know if it was Oscar caliber, but d**n, he was good. I won’t go in to what he does in this movie, but he made The Dark Knight what it is. As for the other performances, Bale did the same good work he did in Begins, but his Batman voice was starting to get my nerves by the third act. On the other hand his Bruce Wayne was perfect. Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes was an odd choice at first, but I can see why. The role needed someone who could play mature, and Katie Holmes just wasn’t believable. But I have a feeling if she had come back, and what happens to the character stayed the same, there would have been applauses. Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent was ok. Michael Caine and Morgan Freedman did their parts respectively.
Overall, The Dark Knight would be an 8 out of 10 stars movie. It has some great moments (the truck and BatPod scene), but it’s not a great movie. And it is not, I repeat! NOT THE GREATEST COMIC BOOK MOVIE EVER. I think we have yet to see it. Can anyone say, WATCHMEN?
PHILADELPHIA PREMIERE « Result #5 on Aug 9, 2008, 8:58pm »
I'm very pleased to announce that ABM DigiFilms latest project will have its Philadelphia Premiere at the FIRSTGALNCE Film Festival in Philadelphia. This begins our festival run, and it's very personal. FirstGlance was my first festival in 2003 with 'Death By Association'. I love that fest and the people who run it, so I was very pleased that it will have it's Philly premiere there.
No schedule has been posted, so I can't direct you to tickets yet, but I hope those who support indie moviemaking will come out and support your local actors and crew. I might not live in philly anymore, but my heart is still there.
Depending on when DOMF screens, I plan to stay over, for the weekend to promote the movie. Hope I see some of you there!
RETURNING TO PHILLY! « Result #6 on Jun 7, 2008, 2:00am »
Hello all,
Well, it looks like we're making plans to return to Philadelphia. New York has run it course (I know hate is a strong word, but I really hate the state of New York!). It's time to return back home to Philly. Our plan was to return in 2010, but if things work out, we might return a year earlier. I'm crossing all my fingers and toes for next year. This NY experiment is over!
Now, don't get me wrong, I've had some positives (maybe 2 or 3) during our almost 3 year term, but overall (like L.A.) it's not for me. It's like that Hot girl you take home, and once her clothes are off, it wasn't what you though it was going to be.
So, hopefully I'll be back in the city of brotherly love this time next year!
Greetings! I'm a Tony Ruggieri fan. How did he get involved in your projects, and has he been a good guy to work with? Looking forward to Milo Freedman.
Cheers,
-Adam
Hi Adam,
Tony and I first worked together on Catwoman: Nine Lives in the fall of 2004. He worked only 2 or 3 days, but he was professional and dedicated (a rare quality in the mirco-budgeted world). But I've always been lucky with my castings. I only work with people who give me their best no-matter the budget. When it was time for me to come up with a new project, I knew I wanted Tony in it. So I dusted off an old outline for a feature called Hitman X ( The follow up to my feature "Death By Association") and I knew right there that Tony would be involved. I actually called him up and said that I was writing a character for him. He didn't believe me, till I told him the plot. Since I couldn't afford to do a feature, I made it a short instead. It sucks, cause I had to cut out a lot of stuff from the feature to make the short make sense.
Tony performed just as I expected on the set and beyond. He's awesome, and the final product shows it. I hope he gets the props for his role in 'The Death Of Milo Freedman'.
We will work together again, and hopefully I won't cast him as a Mob guy!

I went onto Fanboy Theatre and read about this, but nothing...
People all over the net in the circles I frequent have been going apenuts wondering where this film is.
We want a Catwoman: Nine Lives Sequel!!!
Hey Catfan88,
Thanks for the CNL love, but unfortunately I won't be making a sequel to it, let alone any other fanfilms. I've heard there's another "movie maker" out there making a Cooke model Catwoman movie (when he said he didn't like the Cooke model). It's funny how this "movie maker " is pretty much emulating CNL (and other ideas I've made public) when he has publicly insulted CNL. Amazing.
Anyway, I thank you and all the fans of CNL for your continued support. It didn't get the respect it deserved when it first came out in 2005, but I'm glad people are beginning to take what it is.
Greetings! I'm a Tony Ruggieri fan. How did he get involved in your projects, and has he been a good guy to work with? Looking forward to Milo Freedman.
